Ako tak studujem VMware dokumentaciu, narazil som na deviatej strane VMware White Paper "Understanding Full Virtualization, Paravirtualization, and Hardware Assist" na nasledujuci uryvok:
"Full virtualization with binary translation will continue to be a useful technique for years to come
as newer and faster hardware continues to advance binary translation performance for
unmodified guest OSes, however, hardware assisted virtualization is where virtualization is going
